Advising

Students are required to meet with an Academic Adviser once a semester during their first year at Appalachian, but more frequent meetings are encouraged. Students are urged to see their Academic Adviser anytime academic concerns arise. Students can make an appointment through their Appalnet account (appointments are required during registration advising in October-November and March-April). During other times students are encouraged to drop in to see the Watauga Adviser. The Watauga Academic Adviser's office is located in the Living Learning Center on the first floor.
